About Vanessa Van Edwards

I’m Vanessa and I’m a Recovering Boring Person

I used to be boring. Really uninterestingly bland. Almost offensively dull. It wasn’t for lack of trying. I just didn’t understand people. How to read them. What makes them tick. How to carry a conversation. Most of all, I didn’t think I had anything to offer.

I didn’t have the confidence to be interesting.

I didn’t value myself. So how could anyone else?

My goal is to teach you how to be the most memorable person in the room.

Have you ever walked into a party afraid what people were thinking of you? Had someone forget they had met you before? Or stumbled your way through an awkward date? If so, I want to help you.

Science Based Approach

I don’t use gimmicks or tricks. I take, what I call, a science based approach. By using current research out of academic institutions and research organizations around the world, I’m able to share the latest people science in an actionable, applicable and un-boring way.

Have I mentioned? I’m anti-boring. Our books, courses and articles delve into sometimes hilarious, always thought-provoking, occasionally offensive topics like:

  • The Science of Attraction
  • Human Lie Detection
  • Body Language Hacks
  • The Psychology of Jealousy
  • The Secrets of Persuasion

For You:

Have you ever walked into a party afraid what people were thinking of you? Had someone forget they had met you before? Or stumbled your way through an awkward date? If so, I want to help you.

Specifically, I use a blend of scientifically backed academic research, expert findings and personal case studies to show you how to master your interactions.

And most importantly. I’m allergic to BS. I’ll cut through the jargon and show you exactly what works in your business and personal life.

Unprofessional Bio:

Vanessa loves inappropriately intimate questions, peering into people’s shopping carts at the grocery store and eavesdropping on strangers conversations in coffee shops. In other words, she loves to figure people out.

She walks into parties determined to find out the most interesting thing about every person in the room. Vanessa doesn’t believe there are boring people—just individuals afraid to expose who the really are.

She’s allergic to uninteresting conversation, isn’t afraid to call BS and has long given up on social niceties.

She power poses anytime, anywhere with anyone…
